LCI Sway Control W/Trailer Flipped on Video
Searched for this on the forum and couldn't find anything yet so here you go!! My apologizes if there is already a thread on it somewhere.
I watched it and first impression is that the truck was not nearly swaying as hard on the "Active" clip as the one that was purposely done to flip the trailer. Second, it looks as if it was done on a public road?!?!? Assuming it was closed or similar. Either way, with the way of the LCI Electronic components.....oh boy.
Also....Watched with no sound....no idea what the test driver was saying!

The talking mentioned it was on a "closed test track".
And, I don't trust anything with the Lippert name.

I prefer my Hensley, I just don't get sway.

You can't beat a Hensley. Watch this video. It really works like this. They are expensive but the safety is worth it to me. I used to white knuckle it down the interstate. Not anymore. You don't know the trailer is back there.

No wonder it was swaying. He was pulling with a Chevy. Everybody knows he should have had a Ford or a Dodge. OK maybe it wasn't that funny.

Really???????????
Just kidding. Big question,,,,,,,,, was it a 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton TV? Didn't think to look. TV has a LOT to do with sway control. Wheelbase and TV weight IMHO has a lot to do with it. Can you say the tail wagging the dog?

My gripe is that it from the looks of both tests with the active and in active system, the initial input to innitate sway looked to be much less based on the road stripes. Without another view its hard to take the either seriously. The trailer flip looked to me like it was intentional and not necessarly caused by the sway.
Wonder if it was a rental truck?
