Learning experience

I've had the Expedition for about 3 years now. It has the self leveling rear suspension and we have the Reese dual cam HP WD setup. Last weekend we were out for the first time this season. When we were hooking up to leave I set the tension on the spring bars. I was surprised that I was hanging 1 link more than the trip to the CG. After dumping the tanks and getting on the road I noticed more sway than usual. I stopped the first chance I got and checked everything. I found slack in the chains. Between the angle in the site and then dumping the tanks the air suspension leveled the the truck and took the tongue weight. I've never had that happen before. Now I will be checking the bars between dumping the tanks and leaving the CG. I seem to learn something every time I go out.
