Duramax or gasser? Also, I'm assuming that the air bags were not inflated in this pic?

Going from the ole 6.9 to that is a massive change! Just as long as the mods to the EGR are done and maybe some head studs down the road and you have a bulletproof 6.0!

You might think a big change. My 6.9 was turbo'ed, matched turbo injectors, tuned injection pump, ARP studs, running 21psi of boost. Towing there was no performance advantage. The 6.0 just gets me there in style.
I do miss my old truck.

Nice mods to the 6.9. Have you tuned the 6.0? They are monsters when tuned! I used the Edge CTS.

I want to stud it first. Just exhaust for now. I monitor with ScanGaugeII. I have a strict maint . program and watch my numbers. It's been a good truck with over 144,000 miles now.

To be honest, I built one out of wood and had just taken it over to the upholstery shop to have it covered in naugahyde and went home and found the Undercover one on Craig's List. Contacted the man and bought it for $70. Immediately called the upholstery shop and stopped them. I have another Undercover tonneau cover stored under the back deck that I gave around $800 for new. Wasn't about to cut it up, but for $70 I would give it a try. It still sat in the garage for 3 days before I got enough courage to start cutting. It is a little bit of a pita for one person, but to me it's worth it if nothing but a conversation pc. TOWTA usually helps lift it off and put it back on. Does keep curious eyes and hands off the locked hitch tho'.
