I bought my truck strictly for the purpose of towing the 5er. But now I NEED to get a built Alison transmission, so that I can turn up the power another 100hp or so.....Lol. It gets addicting once you start modding a diesel.

Yea same here AJ72, this truck was bought to tow my 5er. Only mod I plan to do is change the mirrors. I think they are better for towing. Other than that, if it's not broke, I am not going to fix it!

It seems to work well,I loaded it up with water (150gal fresh) and gen set food n other msc junk, pulled it on I 70 about 70 mi round trip. Ran from 75-55 mph, with semi traffic.no wiggle or push. It is a front BR,but just a flat wall on front,so it is just wasted space. But the aero affect is good. We are about to do a 3500 mi trip,so I will know more in a few weeks.

I was thinking of getting a Mike L trans. I just trying to justify the 5-6 grand it's gonna cost me. Especially since my stock trans is still holding up on Robs 120 rwhp tune so far..... I just want more! My tires don't seem to be lasting long though. Lol.
