Ahh. There's a few out there who have done the same. I'm not sure yet. Anyway, I love that 6.7L. Man it pulls so nice. Way better than the 6.4L.

Anyway, nice rig. Enjoy!

I Agree with the $700/month cost. I'll take you up on the one of the oldest with a 1986 truck pulling a 2006 trailer. Modified 383 cid Carb, w/3-speed and 3:73 gears. With aftermarket extending mirrors to factory design. I've added rear air bags to lever the truck after this picture was taken.

I’m lucky, very lucky; I have the titles to my rig(s) as well. I did pull with a 1993 big block Suburban I did a ton of work to. It was a real improvement over the stock motor, but there is now way it will match the Dmax on power or mileage. My regret I didn’t get into this sooner. All three of us have a blast, but Genny and I really like the drive a little more than camping. Better than half the fun is getting there. In addition one big advantage of a 50K truck over the old, but reliable Suburban, no more truck lanes for me. Lead, follow, or, you know the rest.

Love the truck! Love white and the tint
Got a ticket last summer cuz my tint was too dark. I was pissed!! There I was driving speed limit, minding ,y own business and police pulled me over cuz my tint was dark!
Paid the fine, bit did not change tinti. You know what I think? If they really cared about tint and wanted me to change it, they would have given me a 48 hours and not a ticket. Frig that! Kept the tint, looks great

Here's the 2011 JK we use to tow our A126. Just added a transmission cooler today as extra insurance. The JK is notorious for heat issues.

Talk about double duty....

First off, we have not taken delivery of our trailer. I have used this truck mainly for shows, and the occasional jeep tow. So, it will be interesting to see how she tow..

Picture from previous owner.....

The 24 inch wheels had to go........ Little too much "bling" for me.....

Interior...

What little bit of work she has done so far... Dallas to Hot Springs... Have 17 inch wheels on in this pic. Set of 17's for work 20's for shows.. (still have not decided which will be best for towing rig....

Update on the 6.7 PSD and 6-7% grades

P.S. I took the 6.7 powerstroke emblems off the doors the week I got the truck. They looked like big chrome warts.
For those of you in Arizona, ya know that long hill you cliimb when heading east out of Payson...the one right before the rim? 60 MPH with an estimated 14000 pounds on. Coming home was another story as that long hill before Mt. Ord was a monster. Just shy of 55 was all I could manage.

So, while 800 foot pounds is nice...900 would be better!
