Before and after

Here is what we started with in September of 2010.....and after a 3 week trip here is what we wound up with. No more white knuckle driving, a real joy to pull the Salem 292FKDS and ready anytime we decide to upgrade to a 5er.

And I agree...it is great fun to look at everyones rigs. Hope we get to see a lot of these rigs in Goshen at the FROG Rally next month.

I bet that F-3fidy makes pulling that trailer a "non-issue". I have to wonder though, did you get all that truck with a possible new trailer in mind? Something in the 5th wheel range?? Maybe??

Ed...as a matter of fact.....yes in the long term a 5er is on our mind.

When we first started this RV odyssey we went to Escapees Bootcamp and one of the things they preached to newbies is "Buy your 3rd RV 1st". Meaning do not buy something too small and right off decide you need something bigger ...once or twice. We took the same theory to the tow vehicle. We love the trailer for us...it works great...but...one of these days we will be ready with the F3FIDY ( I like that) we will be able to pull almost anything.

Cool. And great thinking. You certainly have room to grow in that truck. We'll keep tabs on your progress!

Just got my new truck a few weeks ago. Been out twice with it now and have loved every minute of towing with it. Big difference over my F250 V10

It most definitely is! Just got back from camping and towing through the hills around the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri and it was almost effortless.

Love the colors QCCowboy. If I could have picked my colors that would have been them.
