DJennings-I like that set up! A lot more comfortable than a truck, isn't it?

Nice! I learned to drive in a van, and have owned a couple of conversions. Really miss them, but they are just not practice for my situation right now.

Here's our new to us Chevy 3500 Duramax LTZ with our Sierra 365saq. Thanks to lots of TV advice from several of you on this forum, we upgraded from our 2001 GMC 3500 gasser to this and we couldn't be happier. This picture was taken this weekend on our first time towing with the new diesel.

Just picked up the truck last Wed. Was pulling with a Titan before. Test drove f350, hooked it to trailer, cuz that's what I was buying it for, just to see how much better it was. I knew I was buying it before I got to the highway.

get the H&S or sparten.. stay away from diablo and Bullydog if you tow with a tuner, because your temps (exh) will go thru the roof.. personal exp..

Yes, I run a minaxx with the green tunes...spartan has had a lot of flak on 11-12 models on a lot of the forums...

I personally have never used a bullydog, but my cousin had one on duramax and lost 2 turbos....switched to edge and has been fine for over a year

I ran an edge cts on my old f150 and really liked it.....

My cobra is diablosort tuned....

Really it all comes down to the tune parameters, as all the modules do the same thing basically...

BullyDog

I have not had the BullyDog that long so I cannot really form a judgement but y'all have me a bit worried now. I have a nephew who has had one on his 06 F350 diesel since new and absolutely believes in it. Go figure.
I'll update if things go wrong.
Thanks

Seems like it is directly related to the model and the tunes.....cuz bully is pretty much on top of later model trucks, and h&s is kinda the preferred with 11-12 models...although I havent heard much about bully on the newer models? ...so they may be great on those too and just not as common.....I dunno...good luck! ...I love my h&s , and have no reason to consider anything else.....the tranny programming is the best out there!

Just for giggles, what are the good tuner sites to look at? I live in Korea, so I'll never have a big Ford here, but it's fun to see all the goodies! This thread gives me ideas about our retirement in the states!

The major tuners are spartan, h&s performance, bullydog, and edge.....for diesel at least

Then there is diablodport and superchips and maybe a couple of others for other applications.....
