I use the SCT,it's not a tune on the fly type, but it works well with proper tunes,I have pillar gauges,so I do not need a monitor type. Have friends around here who use the BD the ford guys are having good luck with them, but 2 different Chevy guys have melted pistons, running too hot w/the BD. so b care ful with choice o tune. My 2 cents!

Look up EFI Live if you go diesel...no other tuning comes close to it's capabilities.

that is why they make EGT gauges to keep the temps below the melting point/stress level of our parts, 1375 continuous degrees on the dmax is the limit

Dont forget the best,... EFI... for the dodge and chevy no canned tuna for everyone, just a custom tune or tunes for each vehicle hopefully written buy a professional tuner

Well each of the 4 is good for 6000+ tons on our line. This train was just under limit at 23000 tons.

Don't get too worried about all the comments here, these guys are talking diesel issues and seeing as you have a 6.2 well there is nothing in common with their issues. You may get some knock if you don't run proper gas with the tune you have in but you would be hard pressed to melt down someting in one of these engines with a tuner.

been running gas for years, and switched to diesel last year just before purchasing the 28dbud. Should have done it sooner, but hard to replace the features of an Avalanche.
