BigBaron I currently get 16-16.5 empty/70mph on cruise and 12-13 towing. Truck is stock except for exhaust, downpipe and air cleaner

Thanks!! I have had it about three years and it has been an ongoing project. It has been a labor of love. The new paint was the first thing I did. It took 39 hours to strip, sand and shoot the truck. The body was incredibly clean and no rot. I have done all of the mechanical on it myself in three years. I just added new injectors, 4" exhaust, and cross drilled and slotted rotors last weekend. It averaged 12.8 mpg last weekend pulling a 33" TT and 6 people onboard. We left the golf cart home, it fits nicely in the 8' bed. We have been putting about 4K on it yearly since we got it. Much better than the payment for a new dually diesel.

Well, our Quarter Horse waits to get into the trailer before he lets loose. DW keeps it really clean, though "AJ" makes it his . . . immediately.

Shavings help to isolate the damage.

our setup

We do a lot if quad riding and a lot of times we don't ride where we camp. So I made the the rack for the quads. Now I don't need to pick up camp everyday. I have extra storage and best of all no muddy quads in camper if I would of got a toy hauler.

Thanks all. There's definitely a lot more beefcake under this truck than my F150! Can't wait to tow the Roo up to NH this weekend.

I agree. I wondered how my 2500HD would put up with the 1600# pin weight of my 325RES and was very pleased it only squatted about 2". Stock setup too.
