a disguised WT

Wife said I had to get rid of the "white"... so decals and running boards seemed to help. Sure different from the Silverado extend cab short box. Backing the Windjammer with this unit is an adventure.

2012 Dodge Ram 1500

Hi all,
I tow with a 2012 Ram 1500 Express 4X4 5.7L Hemi with tow package and Husky weight distributing hitch, tonnoue cover, Vararam cold air intake, Magnaflow 14" muffler and Bullydog Hemi Gt tuner and Michelen LTX AT2 tires. Stock is 385 horsepower and I figure I'm running close to 410 or so. The tone from the muffler is not offensive and the throttle response now is much better than stock; the engine does not get hot and feels darn near effortless up grades. I sort of feel now that less is more so I haven't gussied up my truck other than the tonnoue cover and hood deflector. Plenty of power for our 2013 25' FR Surveyor SP220 at 5000lbs loaded. Gotten as good as 23 mpg solo and 12 mpg consistently towing with as high as 15mpg on flats. Nice rig; if I got a heavier or longer trailer next time, I will upgrade to a 3/4 ton vehicle and possible diesel.
Happy trailering!
Pete

I finally got a decent picture of my TV - one of the few SUVs on this site among of those big boy toys. 2011 Dodge Durango 5.7L V8 Hemi with the tow package. Can handle 7200 lbs towing and does a great job with our HW277 and seats 7 if ya want (or 4 with coolers in the back )
We absolutely love it.

love that quadra steer when i had it. nothing quite like whipping into a parking spot after somebody with a small car thinking you are going to drive by said spot waits on you. loved to swoop in and take it right out from under them. makes me smile thinking of it
