Load lifter 5000
Does anyone have experience with this set of airbags? Looking to install something on my tundra to help keep the rear level.

I am running this on my 3/4 ton Ram and I am also using the wireless controller.
I had the same set but a wired in controller on my 2001, 3/4 ton, gas engine Chevy. I have had no issues with the bags but I did have an issue with the wired in controller; a solenoid valve went bad. I could not get replacement parts for the solenoid valve. I ended up combining both bags on the other solenoid valve work great but both bags filled together and had the same pressure. Since I was only using them for towing it did not make a difference.

I also have the Load Lifter 5000 kit installed on an '01 Dodge 3500 full size van. I went the cheapest way possible and just ran the air tubes to the back bumper for inflation. I did not install them, but the mechanic that did was very pleased with the ease of installation and the amount of hardware that came with them. They allow me to tow with this van 500# of tongue weight. Have had them installed for about a year and they have worked great for my application. I found my best price at amazon

I have these on my my F150. This model worked great for me since I had them installed on the inside of the frame. My 5th wheel mount covers the outside of the frame. I just ran the air hoses to the back bumper. I have no complaints at all with them.

I too have these in my 2500HD
Like others, I just ran the airline to the bumper, but connected both sides to a T before running to the back. No need to inflate each side separate for me.
They are working well and have no issues holding air.
amazon was the best deal and I got the $50 rebate too.

I installed these on my 2015 F-150. The installation instructions were perfect, I was shocked. They installed excellent and I can tell that they took the F-150 in to account when designing the brackets, not just giving some generic **** for all trucks. They work excellent.

I just ordered the Airlift Loadlifter 5000 for my 2014 F150 EB. I'm hoping it'll compliment my Andersen WDH setup well.

There's a video on youtube that etrailer.com (I think) posted up where they are installing to a 2014. It was almost identical to my 2015, except I didnt need to use a hack saw blade and cut the extra length of this little bolt holding the brake bracket on. Install is easy.
I will say that if you plan on keeping the truck a long time and use the airbags semi often for load leveling, I'd get that remote compressor. What a PITA having to go back and use a pump or a compressor to try to get the PSI you want, etc. Just nice to hit a button.

If you are just installing the bags and lines the installation is simple. You can easily do this with just a compatibly rated jack and jack stands. If you are going to install a compressor it is more difficult. I too went with just the hoses out the back bumper. I can always find air at a station.
I would give two pieces of advice with Loadlifter 5000.
1. Get the Loadlifter 5000 Ultimate kit as it includes an internal jounce (bumpstop). You can run without any air in a real pinch. You cannot do that with any other bags.
2. Look at SDtrucksprings.com &/or trucksprings.com for the best pricing that I found. My local (national) chain matched their pricing via their internet price matching.

You will probably need to adjust your Andersen after installing the Loadlifters. I ended up having to move the Anderson ball down two holes on the shank. I tried one hole for about a hundred miles and stopped change it. The trailer is now right at an inch lower in front than the rear when the nuts are tight.

Thanks for the tip. Also, I cancelled my first order and ordered the Ultimate with the jouncers. I had assumed the 5000 also had the jouncers in them.

Good choice. At least for me, the Ultimate adds a little peace of mind. I have read several threads over the years about people ruining a bag because of an air leak.

I just installed these a couple weeks ago. I've had them on another truck and they worked flawlessly. On my now truck though I did go with onboard air compressor with wireless remote and I have to say that is my favorite. especially with the presets. While I finish hooking up the fifth wheel I can just hit the preset and it does it's own thing. I also installed the Schrader valve as a backup in case the compressor craps out. This way I can fill it manually.

I installed them on my 2008 Toyota Sequoia (similar to Tundra) and they have held up and performed well. The Sequoia has a relatively short wheelbase so it helped decrease porpoising when pulling the TT. Just keep in mind that they do not add any payload capacity to your TV, they just help by assisting/stiffening your stock rear suspension.
