Looking for new tow vehicle

We have a Cardinal 33TS-LX 5th wheel which we have been pulling with a 2005 F-350 6.0 Power Stroke. Now have 111K miles and Warranty just ran out. Thinking of trading in our truck and car for a new truck, but having trouble evaluating all that's out there. Being a Ford person for over 55 years my first thought is the new F-350 short bed. It has a lot of room in the back seat, but is only a foot shorter than our long bead. The RAM crew can and GMC short beds are the only two that will fit in our garage, but both have rear leg room that is 1 - 1 1/2" less than what we have.
Looking for any comments centered around available short bed trucks including comfort, road-ability and longevity. I plan to use a PillRite auto slider.

I am partial to RAM trucks, why the 6.7L Cummins engine and the AISIN transmission that is available in them. I have an 2008, 2500 RAM MEGA CAB with the 6.7L Cummins and the 68RFE auto (The AISIN was not available than). Which I have 105,000 on the OD now and plan to keep this truck for another 100K or more.

Now the Ram Mega Cab is a short bed truck with a lot of room for the rear seat passengers. The over all length of this truck is 248.4"( 20'.8") long. Would this work for you?

If so give it a test drive and you will be amazed with these trucks.

It works for me very well.

It will not fit in the garage and barely fits in the driveway, but what a horse.

It replaced a 2010 F250 6.4 LB SC that did a great job towing the lite.
