Lube Torsion Bars?

To grease or not to grease-That is the question.
I've used grease thru the grease fittings that the mfg. provided and it does quiet them down=>But very messy in every way.
My question is:
1) Do you lube your TB's?
2)If so with what?
3)If you don't lube the TB's-why not?

Thanks-Boss

Don't have torsion bars, but if you're talking torsion axles, I never found them on my AlKo axles anywhere except the end of the spindles.

Hitch equalizer bars when they lock to the TV.

When I used the wdh torsion bars, I lubed the trunions and the chain hook bracket and the ball and socket on the hitch head.

Equalizer says not to lube where the bars go into the L brackets. That friction point is what gives them their anti-sway.

My dealer told me the only thing to grease in the hitch area was the ball and up inside where the ball sits. (My anti-sway bars do often make a nice scream when I turn...very annoying)
