Max Length?

Has anyone ever been cited for having a vehicle that exceeds the max length for the state?

I saw this link Trailer Dimensions | AAA/CAA Digest of Motor Laws and was wondering.

It's information for Maryland is incomplete. When I bought my camper, I looked into this and contacted someone at one of the MD departments.

This AAA list states a limit of 55' but that's only a portion of the actual regulation. If you're over 55', you're supposed to use interstates where possible. No punishment if exceeding that or your destination takes you off of the interstates; then you're supposed to take the most direct route.
