Micro Lite 19FD hitch weight and Toyota 4Runner

We are admiring a 2014 Forest River Flagstaff Micro Lite 19FD at our local RV dealership and really like the size of the TT and floor plan. It meets almost all the requirements weight wise, but we are leery of the Micro Lite 19FD hitch weight of 446 lbs. The TV is a 2008 Toyota 4Runner 6-cyl with 5,000 lbs. towing capacity and tongue weight of 500 lbs. I'm intending on obtaining a weight distribution/sway system.
Could anyone provide me with your views/recommendations on this TT and TV set up? Will it be safely and compatible for towing? And, what weight distribution/sway system would you advised?

Don't you get additional tongue capacity with the weight distribution system. It should say at the hitch. 500 lbs might be without a
Weight distribution system.

We use the Equalizer.

Where does it say this? On the hitch attached to TV? Or on the WDH?

There should be a sticker on the vehicle receiver. You may have to crawl under to find it.

I'll take a look. I've always been told it doesn't make a difference. Still the same limits on hitch weight.

This is the rating for one of the RAM hitched:
Features include a 10,000-12,000-lb tow rating, 1,000-1,200-lb tongue weight with weight distributing equipment; otherwise 5,000-lb tow rating, 500-lb tongue weight, and includes receiver plug.
So big difference with or without WDH.

Last weekend, my father-in-law had his 4Runner Owners Manual out and in the book it gave a hitch weight of 500 pounds and a WDH weight of higher (but I'm not pulling the number off the top of my head at the moment).

My owners manual say something like 8000lb tow and 10000lb max tow. I always thought it was a difference between having a recover or having just a ball attached right to the spot in the bumper.
