mini tows an airstream Can-Am

Considering all the talks about 1/2 ton towing, what should be made of this company making custom hitches for cars to tow RV?

here's a mini towing an airstream:

several other small vehicles towing airstream

I suspect the transmission would overheat in no time!

Reminds me of when I towed a 21' Shasta behind an 1985 Ford Ranger with a v6 engine. The truck was fast until hitched to the TT. Then it felt like it was tied to a stump. Towed a couple times with no WDH or sway bars, that was scary. The truck had a 5sp transmission and when I would tow it across western Kansas I would encouter long grades and high winds. Eventually I got tired of continually downshifting and just put it in 3rd and set the cruise at 45mph. Drove hundreds of miles that way, never seemed to hurt the engine.
