I use the custom slide on mirrors from CW as well. I had trouble adjusting the right mirror before it cracked. CW replaced it and the new one adjusts so easily.

CIPA here, also. I take them off between trips, and also during a expedition if I am going very long without the camper behind me.

the cipa slip on mirrors look interesting but I'll have to cal them and see what might fit my expedition as it's got turnsignals built into the mirrors on the outer edge.

I'd like to get a pair of CIPA custom tow mirrors for my 2008 Dodge Dakota. Unfortunately they haven't made them for anything newer than a 2004.

I tried the rubber strap on mirrors but the straps dried up and snapped after just one season of use. No problem if I could find replacement straps but I can't find them either.
