For the same price you could have bought a brand new 6.7L diesel F250 loaded up. The Platinum series commands a serious price jump. Add max tow and it's even higher. Not sure that max tow worked it's life as a heavy tow rig is going to last very long. But for those that don't like diesel, the rig you just bought is dang sweet. A guy at my work just bought one also.

Ya your probably right but its the same reason I bought a Toyota tundra. Not a diesel person and don't plan on it.

Beautiful truck!

I've got a 2012 F150 Lariat - regular tow package. I do not have the navigation nor sunroof, but I believe everything else - 2 wheel drive. My payload capacity is 1508 not much lighter than your max tow. I'm considering purchasing a 2013 or 2014 (when available) F150 Lariat max tow with all the goodies, but it may not increase my payload capacity. I may have to order the larger truck bed to get the hd package.

Like you, the 250 may be a bit costly as it would also be my daily driver. My commute is 70 miles round trip per day.
Decisions, decisions!!!!

Congratulations on the truck....she's a beauty!

Beautiful truck, love the Ruby Red. My local Ford dealer is trying to locate a Max Tow Ecoboost. My 2010 was totaled two days ago by a young man who ran a red light and tried to drive through my truck. We have a 10 week trip planned beginning July 7th so I hope we are not delayed too long.
