Just had to take a sawsall to the jounce stop. I also had to drill some 5/16" holes for the fill valves. Other wise it was a straight forward bolt on set.

Did they tell you to cut the bump stop?
Don't want to bottom out the air bag or the shock when you are running no or low air.
No good for the air bags if they bottom...or the shock if it reaches it's down travel limit.

Minimum air pressure of 10 PSI, yes you do cut the jounce stop of flat with the shackle u bolts.

TotalLoss, with the Siverado and Sierra, the joust bumpers are totally removed and the Ride-Rites attach to the frame at that point. As long as minimum pressure is maintained in the bags there is no problem. Apparently this varies per vehicle manufacturer.
