I agree, make sure you have a P2 or P3 although the new P3 allows 2 different trailers to setup and I am not sure the P2 does. I have run a Blue Ox hitch for 3 years now and over 12,000 miles and it has gone through heavy cross winds and semi's coming up behind very fast and never been anything but stable. The equalizer and Reese are probably just as good but I have only had the Blue Ox and an off brand WD hitch that I modified with Reese dual cam parts and it was ok. As to the controller I had a P3 till we got the Super Duty and IMO it is without doubt the best aftermarket controller on the market.
