Need towing help!

Newbie looking to purchase a fifth wheel. I have a 2016 F-250 6.7 turbo diesel, crew cab 4x4, 6.5 ft bed. 20in tires and rims. Tow package, 3.55 gear ratio, 10000 gvwr package. Looking to buy a Cedar Creek 34RL , hitch weight 2173 lbs, gross weight 16173lbs, dry weight 11440 lbs, cargo weight 4674 lbs. trailer tire size ST 235 85R 16 G. If purchased will also install B&W companion 18k slider hitch. Am I good to go with this trailer? Is it to much for my truck? I don't trust the dealers and I'm just not knowledgeable about this. Any help or advice greatly appreciated.

If it was me I would install a set if Air bags on it. I used my 01 F250 4x4 to pull my 35 foot camper and it did a good job, The air bags help it from bouncing so much.

I just traded my 2015 F 250 on a 2016 F 350 for some the reasons you are concerned. That Cedar Creek is over weight at Gross Weight for the available CCC.

Check your CCC on the doorpost. I looked at several at the dealer and I think you will find them between 2300 and 2700 lbs max, some gassers can carry a bit more.

I would look at downsizing your Trailer.

What is the payload stated on your driver door sticker? I would guess that is too much trailer for that truck, as the diesel drive train is heavy and robs much of the F250 of it's possible payload.
