What 54 mpg?

Not trying to stir the pot....return trip home less wind was much more forgiving last night. Burned 1/2 a tank just over 250 miles. Hand calculated 17.1 mpg after I filled up this am with 87 grade. MDS really worked on the flats at 70-75 mph. I was just shocked at the difference the wind made in the mpg. Here is the screen shot at the pump before I filled her up. You wanted proof, you can't handle the proof!!! Is it spring yet?

This is interesting for 2017 Ford HD Trucks:

Engines include the carryover 6.2-liter V-8 gasoline engine on the F-250 only, as well as the 6.8-liter V-10 gasoline engines, and there is a 6.7-liter V-8 turbo-diesel engine. There is a new six-speed transmission for the F-250. Horsepower and torque figures have not been released yet.
