New 8528bhws towing height

Please help me, I just ordered a 2014 Flagstaff 8528bhws. It won't be here until April. My truck bed rail height is 58" from ground and the new camper is he same. How in the world will this get me my 6" clearance I need. I asked dealer and he said it should be fine. Should I make him order the flagstaff 4" lift? Truck is a 2007.5 Dodge CTD 4wd.

Where did you get the trailer measurement from?

I went back to dealership and measured same trailer in a different floor plan, 8528ikws. I understand it's not exactly mine but it has to be close.

Close only counts in shotguns and claymores.

Anyway my PU will drop between 2-4 inches when I have the lite hooked up.
I just checked my PU and trailer the rail is 56 and the trailer is 51 inches but I know when they are hooked I have just a hair over 7 inches of clearance between them.

That makes me feel better. I'm just worried. We have 2 week trip planned a few weeks after we take delivery. And won't have much time to get it right.

Take a cold shower, have a couple of stiff belts(or not) and relax.

Tell us what kind of a hitch are you having installed.
I guess your TV is a short bed?

It's gonna be a husky 16k manual slide. The flagstaff comes with reese revolution pin box, however I asked for slider anyway in case I need to tow someone else's camper in future. And yes, TV is a short bed
