when I was shopping back in April, a dodge dealership near us had 3500 SRW 4x4 crew cab cummins short bed w/ fifth wheel prep for $36,500. We passed on it and bought a Chevy 3500 SRW crew cab 4x4 LT Duramax long bed w/snow plow prep (never gonna need this here), out the door for close to $41 k (msrp of $56 k). lots of incentives and a dealer error helped out on that one. the deals are always there, you just have to look for them and then squeeze them out of the dealership.

OK... the call's been made. I'm moving money around so I can get this over with. Still waiting for the rebates to come up some... hoping there will be some Independence Day deal or shortly after. But if not... so what? Takes about a week to get the money moved, anyway...

Good luck! If you wait and all the 2014's are gone, then you get a nice new shiny 2015!

Congrats on the new truck, however it is my understanding that on the 2011 and UP F250/F350s you DO NOT have to pull the cab to work on them UNLESS it is a chassis-cab commercial setup. I did a bunch of research on that before I pulled the trigger on my F250. Nevertheless the the new Dodge trucks are a fine truck as well. Enjoy!

I would of went and picked it up for the dealer. That's what I did with my last truck. It gave me a chance to put on a 150 miles on it to see if I liked it. (I did).

I had to move some money around to cover the check... so I wasn't in as much of a hurry as the dealer... Tomorrow's the day! Going to the dentist at 9:00 and going to drop off the F-150 and write a check after that... Somehow, I should be happier about it... ...

OK... it's a done deal. Said good-bye to the F-150 today and picked up the 2500. It's different in many ways, but I like it...
