I have the '16 SCREW 4x4 3.5 EB w/3.55. I'm towing a 282RK Hemisphere under 7K dry and 35'. When I towed it home from the dealer it was a little harrowing and I was worried I got too much camper and was fearful about getting on the road again. Today I am a happy camper after getting my setup dialed in, took a little trial and error getting my EAZ Lift WDH adjusted perfectly and added an extra sway control bar. For the rear suspension I had a set of super springs installed to help with sag. My truck came with 18" 116T tires that I inflate to 46 psi for towing. After doing this, when big rigs pass me on the interstate I don't hardly notice driving 60-65 mph. I believe the super springs helped with the stability and sway as they claim to do.

Nice Truck. I have done a few mods to mine. 2" Autospring Lift front and back 33" KO2's Tires, I installed the Amp Research Running Boards. I also swapped out the rear FX4 shocks and installed the Bilstein 5100's. I installed Ride Control Air Bags with the Wireless One Pump Kit.
I have that keyless start and disabled the double honk if you get out of the truck with the key in your pocket. I also wired up where I can turn on the mirror spots lights at anytime. No more cutting off at 7mph.
I really like the power of the 3.5 Eco Engine.

in my 2013 the tow haul mode allows the truck to engine brake down steep hills like 2 weeks ago. it took it from 4th to 2nd as the grade was extreme.

The two things that I would pay most attention to are:
1) Your payload rating. You can pretty easily consume 600 to 800 pounds of payload before you ever hook up your trailer. People, pets, hitch, accessories, stuff in the bed. Also, the dry trailer weights are a starting point. Most people are 1,000 to 1,500 pounds MORE when loaded. This will add about 150 to 200 pounds more on tongue weight.
2) Trailer length. The "old saw" is divide your wheelbase by 5 and the result is the approximation of the maximum trailer length you should pull. So, 145" wheelbase equals 29 feet of trailer. If you pull "Out West" or in the mountains, I'd pay attention to this factor. The trailer is a huge sail back there.
Do you calculations and make your decisions based on facts. Just because someone else "made it alive" with a bigger trailer doesn't mean it's a good idea.

Is the trailer length vs wheel base ratio based on coupler to rear bumper? My weights are in line as long as I don't over do it. I have 1830 payload w/ 6900 dry weight. My TV has a GVWR of 7000 and total limit is 16100.

We are running a 2015 f-150 v-6 eco-boost with Max trailer towing package, pulling a forest river wildwood 282rk. Have been in South Dakota and Pennsylvania mountains and lowlands and I do not think I could get a better package. I average 10mpg. Pulling and 23mpg not. And pass eighteen wheelers on grades...I am very happy with this set up.

Carl, I take that is the Heritage Glen. I have the Hemisphere twin, love the camper. That is my setup pic in the earlier post. Glad to hear your positive feedback on your experience.

Both. The road is sloped and the trailer is slightly tilted forward. That should be fixed when I have the new E rated tires (which are taller) installed on Wednesday. If not, the dealer said he would readjust the hitch setup.

I have a 2013 F150 Super Crew with ecoboost and max tow pkg. Towing a Hemisphere Lite 282RK 35'. No problems with pulling the rig, but lousy gas milage (8mpg). It will pull it up any hill you care to climb.

One quick test is to measure your front fender well height on your truck prior to hookup. After you are all hooked up, with WDH adjusted, ready for the road your front fender well should be the same height. If you have a lot of tongue weight, not knowing yours or your hitch, it may take some doing. Half tons are mushy in the rear and don't put all your faith in the dealer setup.

Anyone having problems with the "Service Advanced Trac" light coming on when they are towing a trailer? I have a 1400' Equalizer.

If you end up back at the dealer load for an adjustment add some weight into the trailer and truck to simulate the weights you will have when camping.

I'm leaving shortly on my 3rd cross country tow. We are currently towing fairly close to the OP. 5300 dry and about 6800 loaded.
On one hand I would say it is a completely relaxed experience...but on the other, I wouldn't recommend going heavier. Not because of power, but because of mass.
I'll run this into the ground, but likely go 3/4 ton on the next truck.

This could be the beginning of a bigger problem that needs attention. Next time it happens it could put you in limp mode in a place you do not want to be. There is a issue with some of the throttle bodies on the new F-150's. If you have one of these defective parts, believe me from experience you want to have that replaced.
