According to the sticker he posted they are AT so they will be Michelin LTX AT2's.

Well, trusted the dealer, said because of tow package or 5th wheel perp, they would be E rated. Had to go with 18s, because once the tow package was selected 20" were not an option. I believe because of sidewall stability concerns.

The camper package does indeed exclude 20" wheel/tire options (but your tires will be E rated either way.) They do this because of the lateral force created by the top heavy load of a truck camper is too much for the ratings of the 20" wheels. (The 20" tires are actually rated higher than the 18's though so it's the wheels and not the tires that are the limiting factor...) I ordered the camper pkg so I could get the sway bar that's included then sold my 18" wheels and tires and bought new take off 20" Ford Platinum wheels. Best of both worlds IMHO. Enjoy the new truck. I hope it serves you well...

Ah, good to know, and thank for that information taken! I wonder how much lateral force it would really take, and the driving condition that would create that level of force? I assume a heavy load, a high rate of speed, and a complete sideway skid.... I never was any good at physics!

Lots of extra safety margin is built into modern ratings and limits to protect the manufacturers against our ever litigious society. I agree that it would be an extreme situation that I would never personally worry about encountering!

Thanks gasman.... I like the black on black look, but keeping the interior cool and the exterior clean can be a challenge.

Love that new 6.7 Powerstroke. Ford did their homework. Best diesel out there. And Ford did not have to be bailed out by our government or Fiat.

Nice truck! Have a 250. One thing we did which I'll never regret, is put a 50 gallon tank in the bed. Tonneau covers it and have over 700 miles before needing refuel. When I do refuel I know I'll be unhooked which is a great relief, which I have many stories! Takes 10 minutes to put in or out and it stands in the corner of garage when not in use! Just my thoughts.....
