New F350 TV arrived at dealer this morning (w/pic)

Sorry didn't see the question directed at me! The aux (transfer tank) that we have is made by RDS MFG and sold by 3Gtool boxes, $399. 3G Toolboxes
We have 70307 and is strapped in with 2 15K tie down straps for easy in and out. You have to get a diesal install kit for it, depending on trk. Basically what it is a valve with a floating stopper in the aux tank feed line. Theres one 1/2" fuel line that comes up thru bed of truck, 1 clamp. You have to cut a section out of the rubber fill line and install the valve.
Way it works is it gravity feeds into main tank keeping it full, the float shuts aux tank off when main tank is full. When you see your tank gage start to go down you got 26 gallons (Ford) left till its panic time! When we stop for couple days I just make sure to top off the aux tank and we always have 700 +- till empty. This is our 3rd year and I have not, knock on wood, had to get fuel with the 5er attached! Picked up the truck this weekend...payload sticker puts it at 3544 pounds. Will put the truck on the scale once the hitch is installed.

We are indeed very close then. Mine, which is the identical layout to yours, except for options probably, is 3568#. With the wife, myself, our two year old in her car seat, a full tank of diesel, and the hitch in, came in at 8520# leaving the actual payload for towing/pin weight at 2980#. I'll be curious to see exactly how close we are on actual scaled weight...

That said, I'm sure I've been over mine. The axle and tire ratings are higher than the sticker ratings and the ones I personally keep an eye on.

What is the gvwr of your trucks? My ram is 12400 and I weighed it last week with full tank and myself (265lbs) in it and came across the scales at 8700...which surprised me as it is completely stock except for a roll up tonneau cover

GVWR on ours is 11,500. Ram SRW's have us beat for now...

We also just picked up our new 2015 F250 as our 5th wheel is smaller than yours. I see
that you also got the 5th wheel prep package. In our 2011 I had the Reese after market
under bed kit installed for my Reese Elite 18K hitch. When the hitch was removed and you looked down into the pucks there was bottom inside them. On the factory installed ones you can see right through them to the ground. Just wondering if yours are the same.
