New Ford 1L Ecoboost.

I can see that Ford is looking at Ecoboost for all their models.

Yes, it describes a technology rather than a specific engine configuration. There will be numerous new ones coming on line. 1.0 3 Cyl and 1.6 and 2.0 4 cyl. There will also be some V-6s in the range of 2.5 to 2.9 L a little farther out. Forced induction is great. You get the economy of a smaller engine and the power of a larger engine (when needed). My first introduction to this was a 1.8L VW Jetta. Awesome torque, power, and economy all in one little engine. It has 135K on it and still going strong. Turbo's and related technology have come a long way since the late 80's/early 90's.

I'd like to install a sts turbo on my 6.0l but pretty cost prohibitive at this point.
Truck is paid off this spring then I'll look into it again.

Retro fits are tough. The motors are typically not designed for the additional stress. But people do it . . . . There are probably kits out there for your application?

John, you probably could have bungee strapped that to your ladder on the rear of the MH.

Leaving here for the Goshen Rally on Sat morning. We'll miss you this trip.

Dinner for 6 when we get there in Nov. (AZ w/Nigel & Bev) See ya then.
