Say or think what you want, bottom line is that I use and work my truck way harder than 90% of the RV towing comunity does,so there is not really a fair comparison going on here.

Well, yeah, fine. You got us there. But it's a heck of a lot easier than getting to the blinker fluid on "the other trucks".
Actually, that should be DEF fluid. Does Chevy still put theirs up in the engine compartment? I checked on my Dad's 2011, and it's not quite as hard as I thought it would be, but still...why up there? It's quite a reach in a 3500 4X4.

Wow, this thread about the new Ford truck sure has the Chevy guys on the defense. The Dodge guys are probably in the garage working on theirs...

I agree! I wonder if anyone has run a Chevy that long?

Over 50 years Ford F 150 and Super Duty are the largest selling trucks north and south of the 49th.

Because if you bought a Chevy you may not be able to tell the difference between the 2 tanks and fill def tank with diesel or pour def in the diesel tank. GM knows who buys their trucks.

Are you sure?
Ford Motor Co. Does U-turn on Bailouts
On June 23, 2009, the Department of Energy announced it would provide $5.9 billion to Ford “to transform factories across Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, and Ohio to produce 13 more fuel efficient models.”
Also talks about how Ford benefited from the cash for clunkers program which was funded by... Wait for it... the government.
Please note I drive a Ford as well, but am not blind as to the history of the Big 3.

In Canada Ford did not take a buy out. However GM did and they sent production south 2 years later. Toyota on the other hand built a second plant to make more Rav 4 and Lexus.

Quoted from link above.
Although Ford did not need money from the $80 billion bailout program, Ford did receive $5.9 billion in government loans in 2009 to retool its manufacturing plants to produce more fuel-efficient cars, and the company lobbied for and benefited from the cash-for-clunkers program — contrary to the ad’s testimonial that Ford is “standing on their own.”

Hmmm, that just reminded me that I have to take my '03 Ram CTD to the garage for it's 350,000 mile checkup. I'm a couple thousand miles past that number.
Isn't Ford the company that delivered all those China Bomb diesel engines a short time ago.
