All too true, A neighbor who has been a long time 5er has just started looking into a replacement for his 10 year old 40 footer. He has found that the manufacturers are front loading the new 5er's in order to keep from going from tandem to tri-axle. He has also found that they have gone away from the air bag hitches and suspensions. He also told me that due to local dealer complaints he can no longer buy online and pick up at the factory. Shipping charges have increased by $1000 due to this,

Yes folks the price has gone up and the quality and components down.
