Best of Luck! If you can't dodge it, ram it!

You may wish you bought a long bed if you ever plan on towing a 5th wheel. BUT, I will say, my long bed is a pain in a parking lot. !!
Thanks everybody for the compliments. I've seen so many others post their new trucks and looked on just wishing...so I finally got my turn.

I tried for the long bed but the wife would not go for it. I'm just happy I was at least able to get a new truck by her! Gotta take the small victories. I do pull a 5th wheel and i did a quick test run a few days ago. No clearance issues with the 5th wheel but I did not expect any as there were none with the F250. At times, I do miss the clanging of the 6.0 and the 4" straight pipes. It sounded like a big block when accelerating with my boat or fifth wheel. This one is SOOOO quiet, and the wife likes that. (quiet for now, until it is out of warranty)

No major problems with the 6.0 it was just that everything was starting to wear out. I kept having that gut feeling that a major breakdown would occur at an inopportune time, not that there is a good time for a breakdown. It was a great truck for us and we certainly got our use out of it. We got one of the good 6.0's. We did look at the new Superduty, but found that they were somewhat pricey when compared to the Ram with the same features.

So far, I love the new truck and am averaging 17.7 MPG (hand calculated) mostly city and some highway. This one also has the 5th wheel prep package. The flip side is every time I open the door the new car smell of depreciation wafts out.

I can't wait to unleash this beast when we go camping in a few weeks.
Good looking truck. We needed a 3500 dually but the 2500 SRW trucks, of all 3 major brands, look so much better IMHO. Hope you enjoy it. It may have a bit more torque than your previous truck... happy camping
