I've considered trading up to a Titan this fall right before the redesign hits the lots. May have some good discounts! How do you like yours? I would definitely stick w/the Pro4x.

They are coming out with a Cummins powered Titan in the near future. It's supposed to be a beast. Kinda ugly in my book but....

I'm very pleased with my Titan. It has been a great truck, and does everything I need. Just be sure and get the towing package, and you are good to go up to 9200 lbs.

I agree. I'm not very fond of the look, but hoping it might grow on me as I see them out and about. I'm anxious to see some real world reports on MPG as well. I wish I could get the current body with the new Cummins, I would buy that all day long!!

Thanks for the input on the Titan you have. I drove a '15 Pro4x a few weeks ago and loved it, but oddly enough they weren't willing to budge much on the price. $45k

Damn! I need to polish my negotiating skills or go to another dealer!

The equalizer rated higher than the trailer weight is a good thing, not a bad thing. Equalizer hitches have sway control as part of the design. No need for friction sway bar(s). I use a 14000 lb rated equalizer to tow my 9000 lb Rockwood. Works great!

Nice trailer. Looked at them too. The Rockwood and Flagstaff make the same floor plans just a different model number (mine is the 2304S I think). It is 5200 lbs. loaded.

A transmission cooler is a good idea for your truck if you don't have one. It wasn't in the Suburban even with HD trailer package.

The bouncy ride may be partly due to tires. My old P (passenger) rated tires were bouncy. Inflating them to near max per the sidewall on the tire helped. The solution I went to this year was to put LT tires on and what an improvement.

Lots of previous posts talk about WDH setup if you do a search. Your vehicle manual should have a towing section too, or the manufacturers website will.
