I talked to another camper in Indiana before the rally in Goshen and he was telling me he didn’t like the hard ride of his dually and traded back for a SRW. I’m 73 and if I’m around at 80 I don’t plan on dragging a camper around. I’ll probably stay in camping cabins then or motels.

Banks hasn't cracked the ECU, they have an add-on power tuner. So far, to the best of my knowledge, no one has cracked the ECU. With the EPA bringing a law suit against Edge, times may be achanging!

Which is why I said give it time. It will happen. Same as when we had to order delete kits from Europe for awhile, until US companies figured out to sell them for off-road use only. Where there is a will, there is way. It's just a computer system, even if they try to nationalize it with a central server.

My 2002 F250 extended cab, short bed, SRW, powerstroke rode pretty well for a heavy duty truck. I had Firestone airbags under it which I basically used to level the headlights when loaded heavy, say with 2 tons on the bed. It was tolerable when empty but really rode quite well with 1000-1500 lbs in the bed.

My 2016 F350 crew cab, long bed dually, Powestroke rides only fairly well until I get at least 2500 lbs on the bed. I do have Firestone air bags with frame mounted air compressor to level the truck if I am moving my dozer around. Otherwise, I just keep 10 lbs of air in the bags to keep them inflated. With the 5er hooked up, I put about 30-35 lbs of air in the bags to level the truck but it doesn't squat much when hooking up the 5er, about 1.25-1.50 of an inch. Empty, it rides really rough but the main reason is that I keep my tire air pressure very high. 75 psi cold on the fronts, 70 psi cold on the rears. That gives me great tread life on the OEM tires.

My new dually rides way smoother than the single 1 ton with way tighter turn radius very surprising
