New tires for dually

Time to replace the factory tires on my 3500 dually. Factory tires lasted 55k which I feel is good for that truck, tires were rotated every 5k miles rotating side to side. What brands have others had luck with? or is it wise to stick with Michelin which came on the truck.

Thanks,

I still have the original oem tires on my truck with 49,000 miles. Looks like they are at about 50%. I'll be replacing them with the same thing. B.F.Goodrich Rugged Trail T/A and run 75 psi in them.

I have Firestone Transforce HT on mine. Had them on my Class A back when I had one. Never an issue.

I have the Transforce OEM on my Ram 3500 and I won't get 30K out of them. And yes they've been rotated every 6K and properly inflated at all times, they are wearing very even just really fast. They're history in a couple of months.

I know what you mean by replacing them with 30000 miles,I have a 2017 Ram dually that has Nexen tires and will be lucky to get 25000 miles out of them,Do you think it is just our Ram truck?

I don't know why the RAM would wear tires any faster than a similar weight Ford or Chevy truck. Especially in my case I don't tow but a few times a year at this point, that will change in 16 months. So I can't blame towing for the wear. Just soft compound I guess on the tires. Like I said, they're wearing very even just really fast. I've never had very good luck with OEM tires, sometimes I think the OEM tires are intended to wear fast so somebody gets to sell you a new set.
