He is from Texas, and we all know what that means!

I don't perceive Barry's comments as getting emotional about the subject of towing safety. He seems to be providing an alternative point of view which we should all appreciate.
Everyone's comments that I've seen so far are good and should make anyone considering triple-towing to stop and do their homework BEFORE hitting the road with their setup.

I would have to disagree. As long as Barry is "sniping" my opinion and recommendation to the OP, then IMO he got emotional over my reply.

this came from the factory, so I assume it is safe to double tow up to the sticker that was attached

i guess so.lol.. but they discontinued this setup in the 2013 models, not that I would ever tow that much as a matter of fact I am not to far from the max length now. but I could if I wanted to and I have the factory backing me all the way....

Just looked at the 2013 344QB its 38' 9" what were you planning to tow? We are 33'11" with our silverback And we have a 17' lund pro sport, 2008 Ram mega w 6.7 CTD. I think I am too long for Manitoba at max lenght 75' . I do envy your hitch setup though.

Just a small trailer with a 3 wheeler, or quad, or g cart, it only holds 1 ea

All that is required here in CO, UT, WYO is a permit for the length if you are over the max. So here in CO. you pay something like $80 for the year for a permit to be say "80' long". It is basically a road tax for the bigger vehicles.
You can also do it online or on the phone. Very easy to deal with.
