I originally pulled my TT with my 2015 Ram 1500. That is the vehicle that I took to the dealership and they fitted my WDH to my truck as I was signing papers. I have now purchased a 2015 F250 6.7L Diesel....my novice question I need help with is, can I use the same WDH? And if so is there anything different I need to do to use it? Attached is a picture of the tag on the hitch showing the ratings. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!!
A 2" receiver is a 2"receiver, Dodge or Ford.
IMO, if the WDH has the proper capacity, the only thing you will need to do is maybe adjust the shaft to get the trailer level or slightly nose low. This hitch you have is entry level but if it towed well, keep it. If it towed with white knuckels, buy an Equalizer 4 point and get the trailer level with the new hitch.

The thing I was most curious about is the chain link setting. The dealer suggested that I keep the chain on link 3 for the bars. I know the new truck is higher and has a firmer suspension for less "sag" when hooked up, I didn't know if link 3 would be to much pressure on the system.
@Davis_family: I also agree that your present WDH should work with your new truck with only minor adjustments. I have a friend who owns an RV repair business so when I traded trucks last year the first thing I did was to take the new rig to Steve. Steve showed me what he considers the most important thing to do when changing over to a new/different truck or pull trailer. Without the units being attached measure from a level hard surface to the topmost part of the fender well, both front and back. Hitch up your trailer and set the WDH chains anywhere you want to start from. When the tongue jack is not supporting the trailer anymore the measurements at the wheel wells should be the same as unloaded. With my old camper the chains were at the third link from the top. With this new camper, longer and heavier, I have to use the fifth link from the top. When all is hooked up and viewed from say 100 ft. away the truck and trailer are level looking. Just a thought.
