I got the tow capacity from Trailer Life Tow Guides. For now the Tahoe will pull the same TT that my Ford Explorer pulled. The Explorer had a 4.0 V6. It pulled my TT, which was about 3800# effortlessly. The Tahoe isn't a long term answer I realize, but for now It'll have to do. I appreciate the advice. I definitely will take it under consideration when I upgrade my tow vehicle in a year or two.

TL'S Tow Guide often doesn't reflect the various towing factors in many vehicles. Usually shows the model's max tow capacity IF it has all the right equipment for towing.
Like different available rear end ratios.
That Tahoe you're looking at, may not be equipped for towing that 6500lbs amount.
