New Trailer

I picked up my new Wildwood 26BH xlite yesterday. This is my first TT. TV is a 2007 Nissan Armada LE. The dealer sold me a eaz lift elite WDH and friction sway control.

I still had some sway at 50 miles an hour on I-75. Just wonder if a single friction control is enough for that long of a trailer. Or if the friction control just wasn't set correctly. It sure did make a lot of noise.

Planning a short trip near the house this week for our test run.

since you just got the trailer, how much did the dealer charge you for the ez-lift?
you can get an Equal-i-zer with free shipping, for around $440 and it's a way better WDH setup than one with a friction bar.

That is a 26.5' trailer being pulled by an SUV......that is a lot of trailer for a 123" wheelbase. I don't think the EZ lifts have any kind of sway control system integrated with the WDH. IMHO, a 2nd friction sway control bar should be used. A better option might be to take the EZ lift back to the dealer for a refund, and buy WDH with integrated sway control such as the Equalizer (brand), Reese Straight Line Dual Cam, or Blue Ox.
