Okay, now with that axle picked go back up in that same box and see which motor is chosen. If it's not the Cummins then choose cummins and then go back down and see which axle is highlighted.

I guess with 800-850 lbft of torque a 3:42 will handle the max trailer weight of a SRW with ease. You can get other ratios in the DWR 3500.

I didn't see that either. I changed to 3500 and with diesel I found 3:42 gears.

I am sure it's because of the mandated fuel mileage laws.

Makes me love mine more I guess. I looked at the "lying computer" yesterday at 20.6 AFM deal(without fuel treat..I am out). I don't remember the last reset and only drive a little on the highway....and I got 4:10 gears.

I was waiting for this piece of wisdom from you. I've noticed over the years that those who ain't fighting for a bigger piece of the pie ain't in a hurry either.

You also have to change the GVWR to 14,000 to get the 410's.
I tow 18,000 with my 342's and it has no problems.

Took many years to realize that having the biggest, best, fastest, etc. is not the most important thing in life. None of us are going to take any of it with us, so we just need to slow down and enjoy what the Man upstairs has bestowed on us.

Then please stay in the slow lane or take the back roads so us people that are time limited can get around you. If you come up behinds someone going slower than you then just slow down, don't attempt to pass, because all you do is clog up traffic. It won't hurt you to go slower because you're not in a hurry, right?
