Mike, I think you'll be ok but you need to load er up and get to the scales. Advertised and even the sticker weights for some of these TTs can be off actual weight by hundreds of lbs. The only way to know for sure is to weigh the rig.

Hello,

My F 150 SCREW with Eco was Max GVRW 7690 and had CCC of 1650. I towed a Fifth Wheel with it overloaded, traded for F 250. There is one one good thing it appears your rear springs are the Max Package. When I had my 2703 Rockwood TT with the Cap and gear in the back I was maxed out on the truck as well.

If you must use this truck thinking short term only ...Pack Light, use WD hitch to level out, If you have a Cap/Tonneau take it off to save CCC, half tank of gas etc Nothing in the truck bed you can sneak buy but barely. You need to make sure you have proper transmission cooling, might need a extra add on unit.

This is of course you choice.

Kenny said scale it, yes for sure that is needed to see what you have.

It is common for F 150 to have that a low a payload without Max tow/ Towing Pkg.

When I bought the truck 4 years ago, I never envisioned purchasing a TT. At the time we had zero kids and I only hauled/towed my ATV and 19 ft boat. Hindsight is 20/20 and if I need to step up in trucks with higher numbers where I need them I can do that. However, I would rather not buy a new truck if I can avoid it. If I can be smart about what I pack and where I pack it and be within the ratings of my truck that is where I would like to be.

I really wish people would stop telling people to go over their ratings, just because they do it themselves. It's really careless and stupid.

Give the information needed. Let them make their own decision.

Set me straight if I am wrong but the only number working against me is my payload. As long as I am aware of the weight of my occupants, cargo in the truck, and tongue weight I would be fine as long as I stay under my top limit. As many folks have mentioned already, I need to make a trip to the scales to see where I come in.

It is just as careless and stupid to throw out a straw man argument when you know nothing about the particular truck you are talking about.

The truck is irrelevant.
The numbers apply to every vehicle out there.

You must tow with a half ton...

As do the axle ratings which IIRC is an older standard.

And extremely capable of it. I tow within my vehicle limits and don't need a 1ton dually to drive safely.

Ouch, 1100 lb payload...

I thought the loaded Ram 1500s had the lowest at around 1200. Learn something new every day.

My payload is 1590, but I have a "mid-grade" Ram and I have to be careful about loading my truck.

Your truck should still pull it well, but if you have an accident and there are lawyers involved you could be in trouble FWIW.

Can I Hall It

Pal 216 sums it up - look at the door pillar! Notice his Pay Load 1193, that includes driver, occupants, what's in the bed and tongue weight (LDH doesn't matter - it just transfers weight somewhere else), so subtract your tongue weight 793 and he could carry 400 of other stuff. This is a great example of what happens with quad cabs (where do you put the kids?). By the way the GVW 7,200 if you go to a CAT scale be sure to have your hitch on board, it is payload. The difference between CAT and 7,200 is your actual payload.

That payload number is by far the most shocking part. I had an almost identical 2012, except 2WD, and it had a CCC of 1,79- (don't remember the exact number).
