New TV!

OMG, just bought a new TV! We started looking & knew we would be getting one soon but were taken by surprise. Got a good price on my trade & made a deal. It's just like looking for your RV, there is certain features you look for in wants & needs. This truck had them all & we really felt at home in it.

It's a 2012 GMC 3500HD SLE, 4x4, SRW, Crew Cab, long box, 6.6 Duramax w/exhaust brake, Allison 1000 auto trans w/downhill braking, built in trailer brake, 3:73 gears, 11,600k GVWR. It has 22,667 miles on it. Very clean & GM certified for an additional year after original warranty.

Now all I need is a hitch! And spring to come.

Thanks for listening!

Test driving this weekend was awesome. Can't wait to tow the new 5th.

donanddonaanddonaanddon - we just bought a 2014 Wildcat 293 REX, 31'9", 12k GVWR. We haven't even used it & won't get it until spring. Yes that does hurt but it will get us thru winter knowing what a great spring it's going to be.

This is our 3rd TV & 5th RV in the last 10 years. Our 1st TV was a '05 Silverado 2500HD SL, 4x4, 6.0 long bed. That hauled our 8' truck camper, & then our 10' truck camper with added springs. Then it towed our 30' TT.

Then we downsized to our most current rig: (Don't laugh! ) - '05 GMC Canyon 3.5 liter, 5 cylinder w/ aux trans cooler, K&N free flow air intake, free flow muffler, computer chip, air bags, trac rac for kayaks. We towed a 19' 1989 Prowler Lynx. We loved the compact size & could fit anyway. We also did the Smokies & climbed over 3,500' no problem at all. Will certainly miss this when driving the new rig.

Thanks again & see ya 'round the campfire soon.
