New TV ordered and pickup this coming Saturday!!!

Excited! We finally got around to getting a new 1 ton. We have 3 trailers we tow for different reasons (Fiver is 12K as well) and this will be my daily driver. For some reason, I love big trucks to drive. Always have! This one has all the bells and whistles for the comforts of using it daily and we plan on keeping this one for at least 5 years as this may be the last of the LML Duramax trucks. I love this motor and tranny combo. She can tow up to 23K which is more then enough. She goes in for a new B&W hitch install and front window tint this Monday. Waiting this week will kill me...

The old: 2014 2500HD LT

The new (just after the dealer got it off the semi) 3500HD Denali

I do like the look of the new 3500. I would buy one if they were available here. No one has them in stock when I was looking.

No kidding.

Even on auto trader.
Type in Chevy dually 2014-2017.
Across all of Canada. There were 4.

I'm way too impatient for a factory order.

This was me 2 months ago. Almost exact trucks, colors, and situation.

I had trouble finding a 3500 also...........but found a dealer with dozens of 'em, and dealing. Lucky to have it.

They are nice..........for sure.

Around here brown gas 2500s are all they seem to stock (for the Amish/ Mennonite's).. No 3500s. If they have a diesel it is usually a work Truck version. My truck was the only one in the are and it had been sitting for 6 months...

We have plenty available her. The 2500s sell like hot cakes. I really wanted an iridium metallic but there was only one in Florida and it had EVERY option. It was about 4K more expensive then the one I bought. So Summit white was the 2nd color choice.

Seems that after my back surgery my F350 doesn't ride near as smooth as I would like. I always thought a truck that rides like a truck was fine and a smooth ride not high on my wish list. Chevy/GMC just may be on my list for new truck this time around since the 3500HD rides better than the F350's do.

The fluid filled body mounts on the GMs help a lot for cab comfort. Ford will do that in the MY 2017 trucks.

Don't forget the seats! Of all my diesels over the years, seat comfort is as follows: 1-Chevy/Gmc, 2-Ford, 3-Dodge/Ram. The seats in my 2003 Dodge ABSOLUTLY sucked.... Lol. The 2010 Dodge was better but my Chevys always seem to have the most comfortable seats. I have an old low back injury from the Army and seat comfort is important!

Good looking truck. I did a similar trade... a 2011 Chevy 2500 for a 2015 3500... since Aug 2014. Love the stability pulling a 5th wheel.

With a qualification. Chevy/GMC has different seats in option levels. We had our '13 Silverado LT in for service and the dealer gave us a nearly identical loaner. We were not out of the dealership when DW and I both remarked how hard the seats were in the loaner.

True, I'm taking about the leather seats. The cloth ones in the LS/Lt are more firm.

Got her today. Drove her home averaging 80 with a few sprints to 90 and still managed 16.5 bone stock.

I can't seem to find a 3500 Silverado dually on a lot close to home, a new one. I would trade.

The one I bought, my dealer found at another dealer over a hundred miles away. Had a $2500 discount tag on it too!

Nice score!

The trruck goes in next week for husky front and rear fitted mud flaps, front bug shield, and a BAKflip G2 hard bed cover. Going this route this time. I had a Roll & Lock last time and loved it but if that lift gate section gets damaged, it cannot operate correctly and it is $1299 jut to buy. The G2 is about 850. Xpel also going on that front painted Denali bumper. I heard that they chip easy...

After all the protection goodies are installed, the next route with be an emmisions complient tune.
