I started camping two years ago and have really been enjoying it and have really enjoyed the conversations on the forum and advice given and read. Anyway I was tired of being at the max GVWR when towing, and not being bale to easily carry bikes, firewood, or anything in the bed of my Tundra. She had an amazing engine but couldn't hold any weight....

Been watching for a while and finally found a used f-350 6.7L diesel. Couldn't swallow a DRW as a daily and wanted a 350 as i know there will be a 5th wheel in the future. At only had 23k miles, No where near broken in

Get to hook her up tomorrow for a short weekend trip to see how she does and next weekend to the foothills of NC

Hey, that truck looks familiar. Well, mine is an XLT, but who's counting!? Nice! You will love the way it pulls over the Tundra. I can truly say there will be a night and day difference between those two. Ya done good!

If you have any specific questions about your truck, let us know. Mine just went over 25,000 and I love it.

Well short first tow ~30 miles got over 12mpg (per truck) Tundra got 9.5 on same trip. All those who have said the night/day difference.... Well, not sure that says enough, cruise at 64 and no gear hunting. Love it!!!

Finally gave in (well found a used '11 350 SRW with low mileage and 7k under KBB) and got out of the 1/2 ton yesterday. Left to camp today and what a world of difference. Finally feel that i have the right truck not just one that will "work"
