Newer TV Opinion

Looking at upgrading my current tv to a dually. I've seen a few that I'm interested in, but the have, our have had a gooseneck ball in the bed. Seeing as I have to put 5th rails in the bed, is there a frame/structure issue by drilling more holes in the frame by doing this? Thanks!

My new 1 Ton dually came with a 5th wheel set up in the bed. I did have to spend the extra cash on their adapter that the 5th wheen hitch sits on in the bed. Nice system though and easy to take out when ever you need to haul plywood or whatever else in the bed. I like it.

Not sure what you have, but if it's a Dodge they make a clamp on frame kit for mounting rails in bed, eliminating requirements to drill. As far as drilling frame, it's done a lot, but if it already has holes drilled just be aware if you drill more holes in the immediate vicinity you will weaken the frame.

Ford also has the Reese (or Reese compatible) puck mount option for the Super Duty that has both the pucks for the 5er hitch and a gooseneck drop-in as well. I have it on my F-350 and love it.
