I'd be interested to see what the payload number is with an updated version of the 5.6l V8. I had the 5.6l in a 2006 Titan and that is a stout engine. Right now the 5.6l is 317 HP/385 lbs. If they could get even those numbers (or better) with some better MPG combined with a payload above 2200 it would be a pretty good tow rig/daily driver for a lot of trailers.

I'm wondering if they will be able to get the price right, though. I know back in 2006 I was looking for a Civic for my wife, and the Nissan equivalent to both the Toyota and Honda was more expensive.
