Can't say specifically about your truck, but many tow ready TVs do not have the fuses or relay installed by factory. For many, the fuse and relay are in the glove box when delivered. You should be able to find it in manual. Also if it has a relay, it will only provide power when the TV is on. This is to prevent a drain in the trailer from killing the TV battery.

Ford dealer said my 2017 F-250 came with fuses already installed. Haven't had any issues. My F-150 had to have a fuse installed. Hope this helps.

Check the charge circuit at the connecter. If no power take a look at your truck manual to identify the fuse number and location of the trailer charge circuit. Ford undersized that fuse and they often blow if you operate the landing gear with a weak trailer battery. Replace the 20A fuse with a 30A.

I have a 2017 F350. A lot of talk about this on Ford truck forum. Bottom line seems to be you don't need certain fuses, you get power to the plug after stepping on brake pedal for first time after starting engine and trailer connected. I really don't know those fuse positions you are talking about but it appears to come configured correctly from factory as is. I haven't experimented with my fifth wheel yet as it is in storage, but I think you are good to go according to the Ford truck forum.

Just a thought. Our Sunseeker on the E450 ford chassis required the ignition to be on to power the trailer 12 volt circuit. Ignition off, no power. I learned that wiring the battery tender on our Jeep toad.

Mine was a Chevy, supposed to be RV ready. I need a fuse and a wire that was tied back on the wiring harness connected to the post on the electrical connection center under the hood. Owners manual and You Tube helped me.

My 2017 Super Duty Lariat came with the fuse (#27 30a M-Case fuse) and the relay (#37) already installed.
Follow the owners manual link below and pay attention to pages 311-316.
You should have an owners manual that that came with your vehicle that spells this out. Does your truck have a tow package?

FWIW: My '14 GMC did not come with fuses to ANY of the poles on the 7-wire connector. The selling dealer had it three days trying to figure out why nothing worked when I plugged in my TT to the truck. The selling dealer had me take the truck to another GM dealer some 30 miles away to have them look at it. First off-the GM dealership had not been notified that I was bringing the truck to them, fortunately they put me next in line. As soon as the service manager asked me why I brought the truck to them he seemed amused and stated: "Those Mexican made trucks DO NOT come with the fuses needed for an RV hookup". It took the service manager maybe 15 minutes to get the necessary fuses from the parts department and put them in for me. He borrowed a tester from a mechanic to test the 7-way connector and all was well. He also advised me not to buy another vehicle from the conglomerate dealer in my town and come see them next time. Betcha' I will.

True, they provide power to the battery & also power to the 7 pin to charge battery while connected. They do not come installed because there is constant power & will cause corrosion. Same with F-150

My 2016 F350 came with all fuses required... Same with the 2016 F250. Both ordered with camper package may be the reason??

Only when the truck is in the run position. When ignition is off, so is the power to the 7way receptacle.
