nOOb to the Forum and some advice?

Howdy Y'all,

My wife and I just bought a new 2015 FR Salem TBud 26. When we bought it, the package came with a WDH (Equalizer), full propane tanks and two marine grade batteries. They also threw in a 28 inch TV.

I bought a Tekonsha P3 brake controller with the direct plug in cable for our 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie 4x4. Easiest install of any mod I have ever done. I wish everything was that easy.

I was really worried about the drive home, it has a lot of elevation changes. The truck pulled it easily in Tow/Haul mode. I was more worried about the amount of squat. It wasn't nose high and bumper dragging, but it was down much more than I felt comfortable with.

I decided to buy the TufTruck 1223V variable rate heavy duty springs and the Air Lift Air Cell setup. Anyone here have this setup on their truck?

Sorry for being long winded. I figured it was better to give as much info as possible.

Thanks a bunch! And we LOVE this trailer. Lots of space for the three of us and our two Labrador Retrievers.

A quick heh and welcome to the forum from mid California. Sounds like the WDH was not adjusted properly. Sorry no experience with the 1223V setup.

How much was it squating? You may just have to adjust the WDH some or even the height of the ball. I would do that before installing any air springs
