I use Mobil Delvac 1300 Super, 15-40. My owners manual sais to change oil every 7500 miles. Thats what I do. In the winter months I use 10-30 up in Minnesota. I change my own and do most of my own maintenance.

Onboard Computerized Oil Monitor

It depends on the type of oil used and the amount of towing you are doing. Synthetic oil interval recommended by Ford is 7,500 miles and 5,000 miles for regular oil under normal usage. They also state that the onboard computer monitoring system is the best source to rely upon and it will automatically adjust that interval based on the oil itself. I'm not sure how accurate all of that is, but if it validates the warranty, that is what counts in my opinion

I use Royal Purple and have it changed every 10K, and the fuel filter about every 7.5K unfortunately. I can always tell when it needs changing because my mpg really drops. I have recently had the TV "decluttered", chipped and tuned (5 different programs), so I am anxious to see how this mileage will differ when the 7.5K comes back around again. Mine gets driven all around, so I really notice when it heads south.

Mobil Delvac 1300 15w-40. 10 gallons with 3 filters @ 20,000 miles. Change air filters and fuel filter at same time. No I don't do my own work.
