tv-2007 Tundra-2wd regular cab long bed- 10800lbs tow cap. 1900 lbs cargo cap. truck wt is 5740lbs with me, dw and full gas scale weighed.
Cat numbers 3280 on steer axle
3040 on drive axle
4860 on tt axles
total gross 11180 lbs
tongue weight is 700lbs by tongue scale. all weights are with the equalizer set up and in use.
TT is now sitting on GY endurance load range e, 225 75r15 with TPMS

My concern is you are over weight. But I'm one of those people that believes in having more TV than you need. Heck I tow my 3500 lb No Boundaries 19.5 with my dodge ram 2500 diesel that has a 12,000 lb towing capacity. I know there are people on the other side of the fence on this issue.

How do you figure the OP is overweight? The only truck capacities they listed were payload and max tow. No GVWR or GAWR numbers.
OP, what are the FAWR, RAWR, and GVWR ratings listed on your truck’s certification sticker?

Here are the numbers you want, I think.
2007 Tundra, GVWR 7000 lbs, GAWR 3900FR, 4150 RR From the door sticker. Just trying to insure all is well.

You’re well under all limits so I wouldn’t worry about a thing with that setup. Go and enjoy!

to the OP. When you went to CAT scales was the truck loaded with you and your DW and a full tank of gas?
My math says you are only showing 580lbs of tongue weight, which leads me to believe you weren't fully loaded in the truck.
You are well under GVWR for truck with 680lbs to spare. (Not sure how you can have a payload of 1900 lbs though with GVWR at 7000 that would be a nice light truck at 5100 lbs).

Please reread the OP, seems you completely missed a lot of the info already provided, including the actual tongue weight, what was in the truck, etc.
Point remains, the OP went and got their setup scaled with WDH, people, and gas and are under all their limits. Scale doesn't lie. OP's weights are fine.

Truck weight
According to the information I have been able to find, the truck curb weight is 4890 lbs. I weighed it with full tank of gas, me (295) dw (225, ?? she says.) and some tools behind the seat. So seems close depending on what a gal of gas weighs. Cargo cap. is 1690. 2WD regular cab long beds are hard to find. Took me 6 mos to find a decent one. I am told Toyota only makes 500 long beds per year.

I'm confused. In your original post, you said payload capacity was 1900lbs.
Now you're saying it's 1690lbs.

If you're looking online for payload and curb weights, stop. Every truck is different, you need to look at the tire/payload sticker on the B-pillar to find YOUR truck's payload capacity. Subtract that number from the GVWR to find the factory curb weight for YOUR truck.
If the GVWR, FAWR, and RAWR are from your truck's certification sticker then the scale weights put you under all the weights. While it's important to know the exact details of what your truck's capacities are, ultimately it's scale weight vs certification sticker that matters. If you're under those based on the scale numbers then the specific factory numbers don't matter. The scale weights vs certification sticker are what matter now.

Tundra cargo cap.
My mistake, 1900lbs from the door sticker.

You are fine. Many probably seem sceptical because the normal Tundra sold is a 4x4 Doublecab version which would be right on the edge with no gear in the truck, and hardly anything in that camper. You have room for all the fun that you will eventually also be piling in there!

The reason I ask is his numbers don't add up. If I'm fact he has 700 lbs of tongue weight the his total weight should be 5740 + 700 = 6440 lbs. His scale number indicate just over 6300 lbs. The original post did not state if truck weight was done on same day with same load as total weight.
Regardless he seems to be well within specs. Happy travels.

That's awesome. That means your truck including a full tank of gas left the factory at 5100 lbs. You and your DW plus stuff make up the difference to 5740.

The OP didn't word their post/info very well...
I took it as unhitched weight w/ occupants and gas = 5740, hitched w/ WD, occupants, and gas = 6320. That puts the tongue weight WITH WDH bars on at 580LB. That means ~17% of the 700LB hitch weight was shifted back to the trailer's axles, which as long as the height of the front fender hitched w/ WDH vs unhitched matches what Toyota says it should be then that is correct.
The WDH isn't going to keep all 700LBs of the hitch weight on the truck's axles if properly set up, it will shift some back to the trailer's axles.
But yeah, I think we can all agree the OP is good to go.

I re-read the post, and I realized his total weight figure included his truck. I read the 11180 weight as the amount of weight he was towing, not the total weight of the TV and tt.

Thanks to you all for the insight. I thought I was ok and everything pulls well (except for gas mileage). Just trying to make sure nothing was over limits and safe. I've driven lowboys loaded with Cats, pulled 14' cargo trailers full of furniture and use a 21' flatbed for the farm tractor but had never dealt with a TT and WDH till now.
Safe travels
