Mine's not exactly older, but it's got most beat on the miles. 250,000 miles on an '08 chevy 2500 hd duramax. I'll keep it till around 400,000 miles just like my last truck(about 2 more years). I don't really care about what year, just the miles. I try to get a good diesel around 150k and I'll drive it till the tires fall off!

We're towing our 2016 Roo 21SS with a 2005 Durango 4.7L. Many here have advised us that we are pushing the limits of our TV, but we don't have the finances to upgrade just yet. Meanwhile, we are packing as light as possible, sticking to the flat Midwest, and use a good brake controller and WDH. We've completed two trips so far and felt the vehicle handled what we asked of it just great. I was even pleasantly surprised that our gas mileage only dropped about 1.5 mpg !

I am still making improvements to my 07 GMC Sierra, SB/CC, Duramax/Allison.

As long as your TV is well maintained, reliable, and you still like it tow on. For me to replace mine would be cost prohibitive with all the other things I like to do.

Some projects in the near future; Airbags on the rear, EFI live tune, new tires.

Competed last summer; upgrade the Allison to a Stg V build and a Suncoast 1056 Torque converter.
